Ven. Weijue

A distinguished graduate of buddhist study in China, Ven. Weijue brings a wealth of specialized knowledge to Agama. His journey encompasses a rigorous two-year silent retreat and monastic stewardship at the historic Guishan Temple.
As Director of the Yuezhongxiang Chan Tea Research Institute, he is dedicated to preserving the Chan Tea lineage as a transformative meditative practice for the modern community through international leadership.

Chan Tea and Leadership
Ven. Weijue directs the Yuezhongxiang Chan Tea Research Institute and serves the Fujian Chan Tea Exchange Association. He also founded Malaysia’s Chan Tea Lineage Centre, sharing tea as a contemplative practice of presence and attention.
